Family-built since 2006
King Cuts Landscaping is a family-owned, design-build landscape and hardscape company in Davidsonville, Maryland. What started with brothers Bret and Keith Whetzel has grown into a full-service crew that designs and builds outdoor spaces across the Chesapeake region — handling everything in-house, from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.
One team, from blueprint to backyard
Being design-build means the people who plan your project are the same company that builds it — grading, drainage, hardscape, and planting under one roof. That's how the finished yard reads as one cohesive design instead of a series of separate jobs, and it's why we stand behind the parts nobody sees: the base prep and drainage that make hardscape last through Maryland's freeze-thaw seasons.
Two decades in, we're still a local, family-run business — licensed, insured, and built on repeat clients and referrals across Anne Arundel, Howard, Prince George's, Calvert, and Queen Anne's Counties.
