Will pavers hold up to vehicles?
Yes, when the base is built for it. A driveway base is deeper and better compacted than a patio base — that's most of the job and most of the cost.
Pavers or asphalt?
Pavers cost more up front and last far longer, and a damaged section lifts out and goes back rather than needing a patch that shows. Asphalt is cheaper on day one.
What's a permeable driveway?
Jointing that lets water drain through the surface into a stone reservoir instead of running into the street. It helps with runoff and sometimes with county stormwater requirements.
